Data Security at Creation
Hawk-Key protects information at the moment it is typed, the point most security tools never see. An Indian-built product aimed at a gap inside a market worth over US$200 billion.
Hawk-Key in 90 seconds
Why a strong password can still be stolen, and the idea behind data security at creation.
What Hawk-Key is, in four lines
Typed data is stolen before it is protected
Passwords, banking details and business emails can be secretly recorded as they are typed.
Protection at the moment of creation
Hawk-Key is a security layer that works alongside existing tools, covering the step they miss.
US$212B in 2026
Worldwide cybersecurity revenue, projected to reach US$282B by 2031 (Statista).
Demo built, seed round open
A working demonstration on simulated data, a provisional patent application, and a three-year security services business.
Data security has a blind spot: typing
Every login, bank transfer and business email starts with someone typing. Criminals can record keystrokes before antivirus, firewalls or two-step login act. A strong password does not help once it has been captured. One stolen keystroke can lead to fraud, a leaked document or a full breach.
Antivirus protects what I type
Fact
It often reacts after the damage.
Two-step login is enough
Fact
It checks who logs in. The password was already typed in the open.
Only big companies get hit
Fact
Attackers go where defences are thin. Every business types.
A large market with an unprotected step
Data at production, the instant information is first typed, is the earliest point where it can be protected, and the one most tools do not address.

Questions investors ask
What major problem does Hawk-Key fix?
Information can be stolen at the moment it is typed, before other security tools act. Hawk-Key is built to protect data at creation, so that what is typed cannot simply be recorded and reused.
How big is the market?
Statista projects worldwide cybersecurity revenue of about US$212 billion in 2026, growing to about US$282 billion by 2031. That figure covers the whole market. Hawk-Key addresses one gap within it, and a sized segment estimate is available in a briefing.
Who are the customers?
Banks and financial teams, businesses of all sizes, and government and enterprise offices. Keyboard makers are channel partners for the hardware versions.
How will it make money?
Recurring software licences, plus hardware sales and licensing to keyboard makers. Detailed projections are shared in a briefing.
Who are the competitors?
Antivirus, endpoint detection, two-step login and software keystroke encryption each protect other points or run in software. To our knowledge, no product combines hardware-rooted protection with an integrity check at the moment of creation. We welcome scrutiny of this in diligence.
What stage are you at?
We have a functional demonstration on simulated data and a provisional patent application. We have not yet deployed with customers. The seed round funds the move to real hardware and pilots.
How is the intellectual property protected?
A provisional patent application has been filed with the Indian Patent Office, and the complete specification will follow within the statutory period. It is not yet a granted patent.
What are you raising, and for what?
US$1.5 million of seed funding for the engineering team, the full patent filing, a working prototype with independent security testing, and first pilots.
Can any security product be completely unbreakable?
No, and we do not claim that. Hawk-Key is built to close one common route, theft of keystrokes, and independent security testing is part of the plan before pilots.
Why India?
India has strong software services and security talent but few product companies in this space. We intend to design, engineer and manufacture here and build a lasting product company.
What is data security at creation?
Protecting information at the moment it is created, here the moment it is typed, before it can be copied, recorded or stolen.
